plooolt
The Pioneers stand at 21-1 right now. They are looking poised to also take the Hogo Tournament and make a very serious run at Region C. If any of you get a chance you should to Marion Sr. to watch the Hogo Semis and Finals on Thursday and Friday. And the come on down to Lebanon on Monday to catch the First round of the Regionals. After that every game will be held no closer than Roanoke (huge disadvantage.) Would like to see you there. Hopefully someone from SWVA can bring in at least a Region title and hopefully state. hhstigerfan
Would it kill them to hold the Region C tourney around any of the Hogo schools once in a blue moon??
plooolt
With it being held toward or past Roanoke every year that puts all the Hogo teams in a very big disadvantage, especially Lebanon. The rest of the teams are at least near the Interstate. GW probably doesn't mind it to much since they are only a couple of hours away, but Lebanon is 3 1/2-4 hrs. by bus. They could at least hold it at VHS ever other year or Marion.
blues88
I think Lebanon has what it takes to win the state this year. It's been a long time comin. Good luck and GO BIG RED!
plooolt
I think that they could do it. They have a great team with Senior leadership and don't get rattled easily. Good luck to all of the SWD teams and the Highlands teams.
OFISHBB
It was held at Northwood and at Marion it just depends how the brackets are set up for that season.
OFISHE8
A good source confirmed last night that it was the Mountain Empire District's turn to host Region C. They usually hold it at Christiansburg High School; however, they did not want to host so they let the next district in line host. Then they found that Lord Bot. would be the site. It rotates every four years among the four districts involved in Region C.

hhstigerfan
Well then if thats true, the next district in line to host shoulda been the Hogo. It woulda been at C-Burg this year. It was at Northside last year and LB the year before last.
