bluekick1 10 Report Share Posted March 13, 2005 Well, Graham has never beat Richlands.....right??, that is what one of my friends from Richlands told me. It sounds like it could be true. About the game coming up though, a Richlands without Skippy might get their 1st loss.
JDove 10 Report Share Posted March 13, 2005 Haha this is going to be a serious match! There is a lot of tension between the two teems it feels like on the fourms. With our 10th graders stepping it up Graham will hopefully come out on top. We may not have senior guidance but our 11th graders are taking that role. futbolfrank 10 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Yeah I agree, but the absence of almost all of Graham's All-Districters for this game will hurt them immensely. I don't expect a 6-1 victory for richlands but maybe a 3-1 edge. It depends which team from last year comes to play on wednesday. Graham has to defend their dynasty and they are unluckily on the underdog side. It'll be a great game to witness could come down to the wire from all the talk on here. carrollfan 15 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Is Carroll's 99 team and the 2003 team the only teams to ever beat Graham in the SWD?
legend11 32 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 I believe so. History doesn't mean anything, though.
blue_soker 10 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 It doesnt look like we will be playing our match on wednesday due to the weather conditions...
legend11 32 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 WHAAAAAAT!!!?!?!! That is the biggest load of bull in the history. These teams NEED to play, if anything else, just for the sake of the district and the teams being effected.
legend11 32 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Well, uh, that may be right considering they are predicting snow for Wed. That isn't cool at all!!!
JDove 10 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 DAH! That sux! I hope we dont get that storm! I wanna play!
futbolfrank 10 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Well there is a possibility for moving the game to Tues. Graham was scheduled to play their game on Fri, but moved it to Thurs. worked out perfect. If things work out ok, the game should be moved to Tues.
legend11 32 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 So, as it stands now, people think that Graham is going to have the edge. Is there any substance to these thoughts? Will Graham pull out the victory despite their huge losses and lack of senior leadership? Will John-Walker Trent be that big of a factor in the game against Graham? AtrnyGnrl05 11 Report Share Posted March 15, 2005 Pre-season talk is nearly completely unfounded due to the results of a year ago, and there's truly no way to tell because of the sudden shake-ups. Only time will tell.
legend11 32 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 How much has Richlands been able to get outside? Graham? That is what this game could come down to, whether or not the teams are ready for the weather.
JDove 10 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 Graham hasn't had that much out side practice... we've been stuck in a gym where you can't really practice long passes but we've been working a lot on short passes because that is about all you can do in our little gym... I'd say we've practiced 5 times or so outside.
BarraBrava99 12 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 that's not necessarily a bad thing there. some of the best footballers in the world learned to play indoors. ronaldo's one example. isn't it fun to just crack one against the wall as hard as you can? Blues_82 10 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 Richlands has been inside 2 or 3 times...everything else has been out, like today...snow, mud, the works...good times
AtrnyGnrl05 11 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 I just want to watch some good SWD action! Come on everybody! Let's get ready for some FUTBOL!!!! I hate that they changed the Graham v. Richlands game. Should be one to watch!!! Games need to start!!
JDove 10 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 Well I'd rather have a nice sunny day so when graham or richlands loses we can't blame it on the weather. I dunno about r-lands but I could see us doin that haha
YOUKNOW 11 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 ohhhhhhhhh snap..........cant wait till this one! i think graham will come out on top they rly dont have that many seniors but they have enough to lead the team to a victory. and with all the 10th graders and 11th graders who have enough talent to play they will probably run richlands to death.......so my pick graham
