Change to Bluefield's Schedule!

THis is the dumbest thing that I have ever heard. Why in the H-ll should they have to play each other 2 times. If the other teams around the area would step up and not be chickens the this would never even be part of a conversation. There should only be 1 "GAME" and it should always be the first game of the season.

in the WVSSAC Rating Plan.in the WVSSAC playoff ratings. I have no clue how this would affect Graham in the Va. Football Rating System.

It's rule #7 in the Football Rating Plan.

Each school's entire schedule of football games,(see exception in number 12,)(However this exception no longer exist in the WVSSAC Rating Plan) exclusive of those played against Junior varsity opponents, scheduled prior to October 1st and within the seasonal limits shall be counted in the Rating Plan.

However, should a high school team compete two(2) times during a given season with the same school, points for both games shall be counted in the Rating Plan(may involve only one(1) team and two(2) games in a season.

So If Bluefield wins both games they would get 18 rating points, plus any bonus points from Graham. Bluefield would only be getting 1 bonus point per win, not two.

If Bluefield wins either game they would get 9 rating points, plus any bonus points from Graham.

If Bluefield would lose both games against Graham they would get 0 rating points, and have no chance of any bonus points from Graham

Bluefield Rules : William Campbell was listed as the 8/26 game on the KEYSER schedule posted a while back. Weird, huh?

Tigerfan : On the Va. side, each game counts as one game / one opponent/ one w or l. If they split and you get confused over power points, do all the wins first, then all the losses.

2 losses by Graham to a 10-0 Blfd. team in 2004 would have given the G-men (0 for a win + 10 x 1 for each of their wins + 2 for playing a Div. 2 team) 12 points each time for 24 points (at the end of the season).

A split would have given them (0 + 9 + 2) and (10 + 18 + 2) for 11 + 30, or 41.
