Narz_Wave 10 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 Would anyone care to enlighten me as to what they have? What do they run? Narrows scrimmages them in a benefit game this August. I'm not worried about winning if we can come out and have a good showing. Should I be worried about someone getting injured?/ lol
bluetornadofan08 10 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 IF YOU PLAYED RICHLANDS THEN YOU WOULD HAVE TO WORRY AFTER ALL THEY DID ALMOST GO TO STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BigBlue02 11 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 If i'm not mistaken I think they run the power I like Richlands does.
rhsfan88 22 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 Last year they ran alot of double tight power eye and Maryland eye and they would try to just line up and run over you. Also, they would get in the eye formation with three wide reveivers and closer to the end of the year they threw in some wing backs and motion offense. Fighton_3 10 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 Dude, we got just as far as Richlands. Â What does Narrows run? and who's the key players?
BigBlue02 11 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 I thought I was right just wasn't sure. Hope Richlands runs some spread again this year we got big enough recievers and fast ones @ that.
jWt79 10 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 but you diddn't win the south-west district title and you didn't beat us
SW_VA_boy 495 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 So basically Wyatt is running the same offense at Tazewell he tried to run at Pocahontas I take it.
Fighton_3 10 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 Wyatt works with strengths. Our strength last year was with our running backs, so we ran the ball a lot. This year it's up in the air, we could just run a spread the entire time. Â And 79, I think Tazewell hit harder than Richlands anyway! cityofRaven 2,453 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 yeah tazewell hit harder???, how bout those hits that caused those fumbles, and ask tester how many times he hit the ground, i admit it was hard hitting game but richlands hit harder and wore out a good tazewell team. Fighton_3 10 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 Ya'll beat us, can't deny that. But I will say that it was in week 2, and Tazewell was still getting everything together. Tester's a really little dude too.
cityofRaven 2,453 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 it was are week 2 as well, not much difference?
Fighton_3 10 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 The past couple of years in Tazewell football, if the team had gotten behind, everyone would just give up. We kind of gave up late in the 3rd when the momentum changed. We were still becoming a new team at that point. We changed alot of people around and started alot of younger players in about Week 4 or 5. And as for hard hits, I saw freshman Scott Weitzel knock the bejesus out of Ringstaff on the goal line. I think that was the hardest hit of that game.
Blues_56 23 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 I thought that was J.R...but newayz we could argue about whoever had the hardest hits w/e but richlands/tazewell game ur gonna have sum hard hittin action and both teams bring it.
Fighton_3 10 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 That's true, both teams do bring the wood. Especially when they meet up.

Narz_Wave 10 Author Report Share Posted June 19, 2005 Narrows is traditionally a Wing T team that will try to pound it at your front 7. As of late, they have mixed in some flavor with a spread offense. Key players are lining up at QB, RB, & WR. If you let the QB turn it up field on the option keeper, I hope your boys have winged shoes because the boy can flat out fly.
