86_dog 10 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 yeah... either henry or mcdaniel .. he had about a two hundred yard game vs LHS.... anyone know how yates from CC is rackin up?
EH31 2,533 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 Marcum has to be right with or ahead of mcdaniel. Mcdaniel might've had 215 last night but im sure he didnt have over 30 against george wythe ( 30 is a high guess )
dawgs86 10 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 think the paper said 44 yards...
EH31 2,533 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 it didn't look like he had 44 from my view.. most of his runs were about 3-5 yards.. i didnt ever see him breask one over 10 (that i remember)
EH31 2,533 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 Marcum still has more.. as it says in Lance's signature he has 274 yards on 27 carries. Even if McDaniel did have 44 in the first game, he would only have
dawgsrule 10 Author Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 WELL ITS STILL IMPRESSIVE OF MCDANIEL'S BIG GAME FRIDAY NIGHT, NOT FOR SURE BUT DIDN'T HE SET A NEW RECORD FOR MOST YARDS A GAME FOR TAZEWELL THAT WAS SET BACK IN THE 80'S??? BUT HE WOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT THE OTHER 10 GUYS!!! GO DAWGS!!!!! (1-1)
Lance 228 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 I'm pretty sure Quinten Reed holds the single game record with over 300 against Marion or Graham in 1986...could be wrong.
oldskool 10 Report Share Posted September 5, 2005 Bradshaw had over 300 in 3 straight games. I don't know how many Quinton had but i know Ahmad had 350 against domeone during those 3 games.
Lance 228 Report Share Posted September 5, 2005 Bradshaw didn't go to Tazewell He was asking about Tazewell's record I think. Reed was the Bradshaw of his day in the SWD...awesome power RB.
Falco 10 Report Share Posted September 5, 2005 Marcum will have it if he can stay healthy and get the carriers. Henry's prolly got second wrapped up
matsumoose 10 Report Share Posted September 5, 2005 I'm pretty sure #44 from Northwood has 459 yards in 2 games so far this year. Ya know thats in the Hogo, just thought id throw that in, i know it has nothing to do with the swd.
dawgsrule 10 Author Report Share Posted September 6, 2005 I think SUGAR RAY was a better running back then BRADSHAW!! but like i said thats whaT i think i played aganist suga but anyway!! Suga seems to be doing good for the barons!! GO DAWGS!!
CPF 417 Report Share Posted September 6, 2005 Not even close. Sugar Ray was good, but he was a power back with speed. He didn't have the moves or vision of Ahmad. I watched them both every game they played and that is my honest assesment. I do think Sugar was faster though. If Sug would have had his head screwed on right he might be playing on Sundays right now, but that was not the case.
