uscgamecocks 10 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 Hey bluekick, I remember you telling me along time ago that you get to see Tennesse beat South Carolina in person. Just for kicks....did u enjoy the game??
EH31 2,526 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 wonder how long its been since Tennessee has not gone to a bowl game? 1 more loss and they won't be there this year..
Tempestuous46 10 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 Me, McKnight, and Garrett went and were at that game. Did yall see the ref get killed by the Vols gunner. Hell of a game overall though. Still think Tenn shoulda won.
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 Wow, losing at home to South Carolina is about as lowly as it gets for UT. And it's great seeing Fulmer lose another one and I hope he doesn't go anywhere. Â "Sure, no losing team on Hokie Top." LMAO
bluekick 11 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 [ QUOTE ] wonder how long its been since Tennessee has not gone to a bowl game? 1 more loss and they won't be there this year.. Â [/ QUOTE ] Â Tennessee is 3rd in the nation for consecutive bowl appearances with 16. And they can acutally lose one more game... which I'm counting on ND to give them a good whooping. They just have to win three more and after ND they have Memphis, Vandy, and Kentucky.
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 Vandy will be no push over and neither will Memphis with the way UT is playing...
bluekick 11 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 Kentucky is the one I'm worried about... they always play tough against Tennessee.
EH31 2,526 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 they're 3-4 now.. do they have 11 games? I might be wrong, but don't you have to win 6 games to get to go to a bowl? I thought they only have 10 games, if they do have 10, and they lose to notre dame, and win the next 2 wouldn't they make them 5-5 ?

EH31 2,526 Report Share Posted November 1, 2005 What is Memphis's RB name? He was a freshman last year, and was really good.. He was supposed to be one of the top backs this year, not to mention he was rated 97 on ncaa 06 lol So what's goin' on with him this year? Â [/ QUOTE ] Â Memphis RB DeAngelo Williams has 195 rushing attempts for 1309 yards for a 6.7 avg per carry. He has 12 rushing TD's on the season. These stats are through seven games. Not to shabby numbers for him so far this year.
EH31 2,526 Report Share Posted November 1, 2005 wow.. lol thats really good through 7.. i was just asking because you never hear a whole lot about him anymore
EH31 2,526 Report Share Posted November 2, 2005 See that, after I ask about him, Memphis plays on ESPN2 against UAB lol Williams is leading the nation in Yards per game, and rushing TD's. I met UAB's QB Darrell Hackney over the summer at a camp at uab i went and watched. He looked like a offensive lineman then, he's got a lot smaller. sandman 13 Report Share Posted November 3, 2005 As a Florida fan it nearly brought a tear to my eye to see "Darth Visor" stick it to the Vols one more time, just for old times' sake.
