lee 10 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 yeah he has offers from all over. allmost every d1 college on the east coast that you would want to go to if you was swva.
oldskool 10 Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 how many coaches have shown up to the school to visit these guys? I know from personally that if they don't come or call the house you're not at the top of their lists.
Blue5Ramblin 10 Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 Gayheart is not a D1 athelete. Maybe Emory or Ferrum but nowhere big
BigD4VT 11 Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 Good thing for him you aren't recruiting him heh? I think you're wrong. He reminds me of John Engleberger who people also said wasn't D-1 material.
djr4hurleyfb 12 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 Two of the kids who played in Friday's Richlands/VHS game were up at the UVA/VT game this past saturday (Arms, from RHS, was one of them; a player from VHS was with him, but don't know his name). MrsCola 10 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 Dont count Gayheart out as a D1 prospect you never know what has been going on and Gayheart is not a big talker about any kind of recruitment coming his way.
bluenecknation 17 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 wish all the swva players a chance for a college education. in the long run it's the most important thing. over time football goes & all is left is the big friday nights when the blues are playing! Â go blues!

VHSFan999 10 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 Anyone know who the VHS player was with Arms at the VT/UVA game?
Blue5Ramblin 10 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 Arms, yes could be D1 with his size but from what i watched from Gayheart this year is that he is good and he will get looked at from smaller schools, but D1 is pretty much out of his league. He would get manhandled
porchy 10 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 lot of the guys in this area want to be D1 but if a player can get help wiht his education.. its all good.. bottom line. nothing wrong with Emory, uva/w... ferum concord.. etc.. IMO

tanyadv06 10 Report Share Posted November 24, 2005 small schools like emory, uva/w, and ferrum would be wonderful places for richlands guys to play, they're more likely to be playing instead of just walking. sure, playing at virginia tech would be a dream, but why go there and not start when you can go to a small school and start and earn publicity for playing? lee 10 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 because when your old and talking you your grandsons you can say i played for virginia tech and they will know who you are talking about, instead of saying i played for ferrum or emory. bassically the prestige
bluenecknation 17 Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 lee you must consider 1 thing not all players go d1 just a select few, look at the richlands players over the years to go d1.
lee 10 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 not too many since they have keep it up only 14 players has played at a d1 college from richlands.

tanyadv06 10 Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 that's true.. i would love to see a lot of richlands players go to tech.. that would be a great bragging right.. but for those who can't go D1...don't give up
