Barnet pitched to two batters and not two innings.

I agree with someone who posted earlier, Richlands will be able to score points. The jury is still out on the defense and they will not have a verdict until they face Gate City.I have watched several teams from Richlands and that was the best defensive team, period.Can they keep the other team off the field???????

I am glad Joe Smith, Greg Reynolds and Ryan Mullins got in the game. Those boys have paid their dues and should have been treated better, during the regular season. I am proud of all three of these players.I hope to see you in the game Thursday.

I am thankful it did not make the papers. I can image how those boys felt and Richlands coaches/players did not like it either.RHS coaches and players have too much class to embarrass anyone. I wish their coach had stopped the game earlier, since Richlands or the umpire could not. I tip my hat to Grundy for hanging in there. What type of student is McCracken ? Vocational or college prep courses ? Also, Clayborne dropped his share of passes and I agree Fuller will be the stud receiver.

I heard Stanton is going to the University of Richmond Sat. for another visit. He visited Davidson last week.Choosing a school with a high academic standards is important to him.

Loyd Combs is the reason, because of his whining and negative articles in the local newspapers. He is sooo jealous of all Tazewell County teams. I should know since I played basketball and baseball at a Buchanan County school but I presently reside in Tazewell County. We all pull for Grundy when they aren't playing our teams.

I agree they looked much better last night, even though it was in a losing cause. We missed McCall at point but I thought Stanton did well in his absence. They are playing hard and giving great effort. I have one small complaint, I feel Coach McGee subs to freely and should let his starting five develop some cheminstry. I understand he is a rookie coach and is learning , also. It seems everyone loves to beat Richlands and we always get their best game.They will be much improved come tournament time.
