wasp1 10 Report Share Posted July 14, 2006 Your right there were not only alot of yellow jackets drank but quite alot of victories over the yellow jackets. We hope that happens this year. By the way Snake Palmer was a Pinch Runner for Sonny Hagy of the Rangers. So there you are Mobster

GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 Not sure who was the best but I know they had some real good players, especially pitchers, back in the early/mid 80s...Jerry Warner, Ronnie Davis, some Johnson guy that no-hit us at GMS (I did jack one off of him at Richlands but we still lost). Garnett was a very good player as well and excelled at Bluefield College.
rickster 10 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 Snake Palmer played center field for the Rangers and played it very well
pigskincleat 13 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 That had to be the pee wee rangers. You had to be over 5 feet to play little league. He did not reach that height until the 10th grade.
pigskincleat 13 Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 Anyone confirm this.
RichlandsAlum 678 Report Share Posted November 7, 2006 I think there's some erroneous information floating about here. Word I get (from a reliable source) is that Palmer was one of the cornerstones of the Raven Twins juggernaut back in the day.
