Grundy was 4-0 this time last year. Not much has changed, except TV and Lebanon nearly beat them this year. Honaker must be bad if Castlewood and Lebanon both beat them. Could be interesting.

That is interesting. You are suppose to have 20 days practice in before the first game. One week practice equals 5 maybe 6 if you count saturday. 2 a days count as 1 practice day. What kind of calendar are they using at Tazewell?

I noticed a few of the same names keep showing up for these so called all-star games in basketball. If any of these kids are playing spring sports, they may have cost their team by being ruled ineligible. Rule 28-11-1 of the vhsl rules, states that a senior is only allowed to play in ONE all-star game. If they play in more than one, they are no longer eligible to play any sanctioned high school sport. Anyway, I was just curious.

I think the fieldhouse is located on school property. The people of Tazewell County who pay taxes are the true owner of the building. Being said anyone (girl or boy) can use the facility. It is not a football fieldhouse, soccer fieldhouse, girls fieldhouse, or whore house. IT IS RICHLANDS HIGH SCHOOL FIELDHOUSE! It does not matter who raised or donated the money. Get over it and life will be less strainfull.

It does not matter if they wrestle, play basketball, play football or play with themselves. They are doing it as Grundy High School. Good luck Grundy. Get rid of the cancers that get on here and spout off. Play as one and quit trying to run one program in the ground and trying to make the other program better. As has been said on here, you guys are using the same players. When you down one program you are downing the other because it is the same kids playing. Play the game for what it is meant to be played for. In 20 years everyone will be all state or state champions in their minds and the stories they tell. Or better yet they will be on some message board trying to prove they have the answers to every problem and no one else has the right to express theirs, without being called names.
