Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 [ QUOTE ] BHS : Lost some seniors, Remains having lots of speed all around! [/ QUOTE ] Bluefield will definitely, as usual, have speed in '08, but they must find a line to block for that speed. The Beavers must replace the entire offensive and defensive lines, which will be the key to how successful they are in 2008.
MavsRock 21 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 James Monroe losses quite alot. Taylor Robertson, DJ Robinson, John Ballengee, Logan Ray, Nick Keisel, Braxton Thomson and Cody Parker are the ONLY ones who return with starting experience starting other than special teams. Pretty much the entire interior lines and Linebacker corp will be very green.

BHSnuffsaid 10 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 basically all of bluefields seniors were fast...the big ones were brooks, bowes, ponder, mcclanahan, and joyner. our line was pretty fast too with stone being the fastest, the two harris' at 5.0, and mike miller. so yea, a lot of speed is lost for us. our returning speedsters are lilly, patterson, kyle harris, trey williams, levi beckett, and cody wassum. jimmy17 10 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 Richlands will have the O line and Qb back. The will be replacing recievers and RB. The return D line and one starting linebacker. They should have a pretty good team but have to replace some key players
GetMoney55 11 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 Bluefield will lose Ansel Ponder, Shaun Brooks, Chase Joyner, the entire offensive and defensive lines, Deak Kersey, Eric McClanahan and some other special teams players. However, they have some good replacements coming in. Clearly the biggest concern will be replacing the lines, but we lost our line from the 06 team and look what we did this year. I believe next year you will see a more passing offense from Bluefield with Cody Wassum, Levi Beckett, and Marcus Patterson at receiver. coachftbl 10 Report Share Posted December 20, 2007 what do the teams in the clinch mountain district look like and how did there jv teams do?
swvasport_7 10 Report Share Posted December 20, 2007 Grundy on Offense returns there QB but there is a kid thats going to be a freshman next year that QB jv ball last year who has a cannon for a arm and can be pretty accurate also but he holds the ball to long some times and gets frustared easy it could end up in a showdown. They return there starting RB Josh Lindsey. Out of top three WRs last year two of them are coming back. Two of there starting OL are coming back and one who was starting to start the season but quit. On D,return one of our starters DEs Robby Rife and on the other started DE our LB in Josh Lindsey also another starting LB comes back in Tanner Mc. All 3 of there starting DBs come back but it looks they will have to move there S to OLB IMO. Also are Kicker comes back
