I liked a lot of his work too. I never saw "Brokeback Mountain." Something about the plot I just wouldn't be able to stomach.  Sad for his daughter Matilda. I also remember meeting his baby's momma at the Holiday Inn in Bluefield when she was filiming "Lassie" in Tazewell. She seemed nice.
