Hokie Bound 109 Report Share Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) Lebanon makes it to 6th in the state by beating up on the smaller schools. They need to schedule up and leave pound and northwood alone. Watch when they play the bigger schools. They will falter. Edited January 23, 2009 by fb2

Hokie Bound 109 Report Share Posted January 23, 2009 The aa around here isn't that good. Lebanon beat Tazewell by 30 on wen. night. Problem is Lebanon is single A and they probably have more students than Tazewell.
GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted January 23, 2009 Problem is Lebanon is single A and they probably have more students than Tazewell. Wrong. With most of the Pocahontas students choosing to go to Tazewell, Tazewell's enrollment is about 100 more than Lebanon's... The real problem is basketball in the SWD is HORRIBLE... The real problem is basketball in the SWD is HORRIBLE... The SWD is bad but doesn't Lebanon have more students than like Richlands, Graham, and Grundy. Tazewell High is now the bigest school in Tazewell County and with Lebanon being almost as big why arent the double A?

Not trying to say your wrong but from what I heard is they dropped in numbers and have less than Tazewell who has only 700. Idk if thats true. Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) is this really going to happen? if so what's a good name? Looks like they'll have the final vote on it in May. That would probably be a section (one of four across the state). From what I've read most are wanting to keep the current districts in place and they've said they're considering freezing them maybe for a cycle. There's a power point presentation and a summary of the meetings they've held, here... http://www.vhsl.org/MoreAboutVHSL/RR.htm Edited January 26, 2009 by Beamerball

saturn125 10 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 (edited) From what i know if they did decide to go through with it they would be doing away with the district formats like we know so district winner wouldn't matter but it would be based on like your record but some form of power points would be needed other wise all schools would be trying to book weaker ones but all of those schools would be like the division 2 around here and thats who we all would be playing Edited January 28, 2009 by saturn125
