canes1234 10 Report Share Posted February 14, 2009 First off, thanks very much to TBG. Just got back from the game and what a great game for Marion. It was good to see Roe have a good game cause he missed the game at Abingdon. Johnson with 20 had his 2nd real good game in a row. It was the first time I saw the band in all the games I've been in the last 3 years, they had a pretty good drum line show at half-time, the gym was packed and hot, great night of high school basketball in this little corner of the world. Congrats to Marion and take some rest cuz it's an early game at Graham. Congrats to Graham for the district title. I think the Canes can beat them tomorrow. But they're gonna need to play their best. zw23 10 Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 The refs were terrible, but they were terrible both ways to a certain extent. I still feel like Abingdon got the short end of the stick on quite a few calls, but if the team tries to say thats the reason they lost, then they're sorely mistaken. They had plenty of chances to make a run and just had way too many turnovers in this one. Gotta give the boys from Marion credit too. They played bout as hard as you can play.
