blueinbama 259 Report Share Posted September 27, 2009 Can't believe South Florida did not crack the Top 25... http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings I thought they would be there too. They beat Fl. St. without their starting qb.

wvuraiders 10 Report Share Posted September 28, 2009 Can't believe South Florida did not crack the Top 25... http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings bias and tradition keep teams in the polls or get them in quicker...Take Miami yes a good win vs gtech....but as you can see fl state win not impressive....they go from unranked to 9th...etc...i can go on and on......i can see tech where they are at because of schedule thus far...but some teams just stay based on the past.....why south florida is not ranked beyond my belief....cannot believe notre dame is not # 2 this week they will lost 5 games and still be ranked. i am not making much sense just rambling so i will stop :)
Big Orange 1 10 Report Share Posted September 28, 2009 IMO there are no clear cut great teams this year. Theres Florida, Texas, and Bama, but below that most of the teams are very beatable. It will all come out in the wash I guess. Im suprised ND is not number 2 myself, I mean they did pull off last second miracle wins against powerhouses Purdue and Michigan State. sandman 13 Report Share Posted September 28, 2009 Can't believe South Florida did not crack the Top 25... http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings They beat the ACC, just like TCU did. No extra credit given.

Ryan4VT 4,557 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 My friend had a crazy prediciton last night. 1 Fla 2 Texas 3 Bama 4 LSU 5 Boise 6 VT In his rationale, Fla still has to play at LSU, at Ole Miss, and Georgia, plus its the SEC. Texas still has Oklahoma, and Bradford will be back, and OK St. Bama has to get through the SEC plus the championship game. LSU, in his oppinion is completely overrated and will lose a game, Georgia he thinks. Boise plays in the WAC and will not lose. VT dosnt have a terribly hard schedule. Dont slip up and we will be 11-1 So in his mind, the NC will be #1 Boise St. vs. #2 Virginia Tech Tell me that wouldnt be the most talked about national championship game in a long time. EH31 2,532 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 (edited) It would be nice to see a non BCS team to be up there but itll be hard for Boise st to be ranked above even a 2 loss team from the sec or big 12 Edited October 2, 2009 by EH31
