I'm guessing he hit the plastic clips that fasten the facemask to the helmet. He's tough as nails and still played that game. Imagine being on the other team and have that looking at you with blood all over his face. I'm sure none of you are man enough to let him know how stupid it was to his face lol. But I think I saw somewhere that his teammates were legit pumped after he came to the sideline bleeding. So hey. Maybe it did work. Might have been on espn.com? Not sure where I saw it.
