Lance 228 Report Share Posted November 14, 2009 Since it was the last game of the year I decided to just let it roll...I took about 200+ pics and ended up getting a couple that were ok...these first few are just some I've been playing around with...will post these then post more later...I hope you guys enjoyed the season as much as I did this year. .......and this one is for Tully, Lobster, Lil Leonard, Elliot...and a few more.... get ready to sing! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I tried giving him a call last night but his phone was off, hopefully its nothing serious because basketball starts for him on monday. I hope ben is getting better i heard the same thing after the game that he dislocated his should.. get well soon Basketball is soon... Pay Back is a B****. Well, if the field was bad for Grundy it was bad for Marion also. We can`t help it rained all week long. Do you actually think either side wanted the field in that condition? swvasport_7 10 Report Share Posted November 15, 2009 Im from Grundy but it just proved that Marion was the better team...plain and simple. Marion has a good football team, you could maybe say there the 2nd best team in the district. I still think the best game the Wave played all year was the first game they played aganist Marion. I plan on going to some games and trying to get some pics...i can never seem to catch wrestling for some reason? My work schedule keeps me from going to as many games as I would like to. as for the field...that was nothing close to as bad as the Va High playoff game in 2004 that was at Grundy...a messy field doesn't help anyone and for a team like Marion with speed it just evens things out more I think....that's one of the things about football that makes it a great game to watch...sometimes you have to deal with the elements....it's the x-factor...thats just the way it is.
