Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 For anyone who's seen anything that I've posted since November, it's not a big surprise that VT will make the NCAAs. In fact, I was the only one that believed it for nearly 3 solid months. I started this bandwagon, and I'm charging a hefty price to ride it. Just sayin'... -oo- 146 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 As its looking right now, UNC will not be in the NCAA tourney. Does anyone know if this is the first time that the reigning champs would not make the NCAA tourney the year after they won the big dance? Kansas didn't go back in '99 after they won in '98. I think that was NCAA violations though? Also, Florida didn't go after winning back to back titles in '06 and '07. Other than those, I'm not sure. Grundy10 10 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 Bluefield, as it stands now, will be represented in the Big Dance. Coastal Carolina has a 2 game lead with 3 to go in the Big South Conference and should at very worst receive a NIT bid if they dont win the Conference Tournament.
