Decided to use this video, have to admit a little biased here. lol

 

First of all, I want to congratulate the Honaker Tigers, J.I. Burton Raiders, Grundy Golden Wave, Carroll County Cavaliers and Bluefield Beavers on fine seasons!!

 

I know the dream season for you came up short, but you should be very proud of your accomplishments. When 2-a-days start everyone has high expectations for their team and season. Well, boys of fall, you did that, entering into the playoffs for your region with the same grit, guts and determination you had during the off-season; putting in countless hours in the weight room to achieve your goal.

 

Your dream didn't turn out the way you had hoped, but never let the outcome overshadow and cloud the vision you have. Life has adversity and disappointments, but hope and vision lets you see tomorrow clearly.

 

For the Gate City Blue Devils, Clintwood Greenwave and my beloved Richlands Blue Tornadoes, may the winds be at your back and at the end of the day tomorrow, you know the time, effort and dream has continued on to CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK.

Gate City would play King William/Gretna winner in Salem at 430pm.
