G-Girls advance to state championship game

RADFORD, Va. — The Graham G-Girls defeated Clarke County 2-1 Friday in the Group A State Soccer Semi-Finals at Radford University.

 

Graham will now play George Mason for the state championship Saturday at 10 a.m. at Radford.

 

Jessica Woodie and Liz Workman scored goals for Graham.

I just read on line that George Mason has only lost to one Group A team since 2010. That was Clarke Co.

Wow... I didn't see that coming.... I shouldn't have doubted them.

 

Clarke and Mason are usually heads and shoulders above the rest.... Clarke and Mason have both played 3 very close contests this season.... I wish Graham the best tomorrow.

sounds like the graham girls soccer team is the real deal.congrats to this group of girls
