BlueTornadoFan 17 Author Report Share Posted November 13, 2012 Yeah essentially what you do is when you get the red ring, you wrap your xbox in a couple towels while its turned on. It overheats itself and shuts down. When you turn it back on it will work but not permanently, its only a temporary fix. But if its still under warranty don't do it. I'm planning to take it to GameStop to see what is wrong with it, exactly. That, and I'm gonna pick up BO II and just play it on my brother's console.
