BlueTornadoFan 17 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 Can't believe South Carolina dominated Georgia like that. Pretty impressive! It's going to be a good game when Florida plays SCar... Can't wait for it to get here.

BlueTornadoFan 17 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 So........how about those Irish? Dominated Miami, to say the least. They're looking REALLY good this year, but I think USC will knock 'em off.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 What he said. No way WVU can keep up this scoring pace that they have, and WVU virtually has no defense, and Texas' offense IMO is better than Baylor's. Screw you!
BHS03 99 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 Screw you! To his credit, he did eat some crow last night. I commend that.

futbolking 766 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 15 men on defense... Unless the 4 extra defenders are from Virginia Tech..
GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 15 men on defense... I guess 11 was enough...Buie had a great game, Geno Smith has his worst game of the season 25-35, 268, 4TDs...
GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 I want to see Oregon vs. WVU. O/U for that game would be 150.
MrSocko 136 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 I want to see Oregon vs. WVU. O/U for that game would be 150. I said the same thing last night to my nephew when we was watching Oregon and after we watched WVU/Texas. I would imagine there would be some crazy numbers that day. bhs7695 185 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 My dad said last night he also wanted to see Oregon play WVU. I told him that there wouldn't be enough lights in the scoreboard to keep pace in that game.
bhs7695 185 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 More fires break out in Morgantown. Big surprise!! If WVU wins the MNC this year in football no area will be safe from a threat of fires within a hundred square miles of Morgantown http://www.wvmetronews.com/news.cfm?func=displayfullstory&storyid=55482
ThomasDenton 79 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 They're looking pretty good if they can keep their Q-back out of trouble.LOL It was kind of weird last night. This season they've been playing #5 at qb for most of the game, then putting Rees in at the end to pull off the win. Last night, they started off with Rees, but pulled him quickly to let 5 play the whole game (though I guess it didn't matter since they outplayed Miami that much, lol). I liked how Brian Kelly was still in full coaching mode even in the fourth when it was pretty much a sure win.

RichlandsAlum 678 Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 If our D can play just the slightest bit better than last week, I believe WVU wins the game. Texas doesn't want a shootout. If West Virginia ever discovers defense, the Mountaineers would have an excellent shot at winning the national championship this season IMO. mavsgrad 28 Author Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 Huge win for WVU. Geno is still great even on a bit of a down night and Buie was spectacular. If he can keep running like that after Alston returns that will bring some great balance to the offense and make them even more terrifying to defend. Alston would help with pass blocking and short yardage runs. Defense still needs to improve but they did enough the other night. Even with the D's woes, if we don't turn the ball over it is going to be hard for anyone to beat us. OU and Kansas State still concerns me and you can never take a week off in the Big 12. For now though, it is nice to be undefeated after beating a solid Texas team in Austin and it is nice to be in the National Championship conversation.
