frito gonzales 103 Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 Bluefield by 11. It was 64 - 53. Bluefield was to good from the 3 point line. Gotta give the G-Men credit for playing much better. They did a good job beating the press and hitting their free throws this time. IMO the difference was Blfd's three point shooting. This was a pretty good game considering the way the last game went. futbolking 766 Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 Went to the first game and saw them get destroyed by the press and they couldn't hit a free throw to save their lives... Good to see that they improved in those areas....Right now, they control their own destiny in the MED.... Would love to see them win the district. starcityfootballfan 517 Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 Graham has certainly been the MED's "surprise" team this season. With the exception of Floyd County, all other losses have been dealt from AA schools including West Virginia's #1 ranked Bluefield Beavers. Before the season began, Galax was the "team to beat" in the MED; however, it now appears Graham holds that status. I just hope that the G-Men continue to improve and hopefully will take the MED crown. That is indeed a good position to have when the tournament seeding begins.
