redtiger 1,742 Report Share Posted September 25, 2013 Their terrible record in the 90s was part of it but the main reason is Council's small enrollment. Council has just over 100 students, a school that small just cant compete in 11 man football. They would have to get almost half of the male students to play just to field a safe team. Plus open Gym is in the Fall! and speaking of those 90s Cobra teams, when you cant beat Whitewood once in 4 tries you are a pretty bad team. as far as TV goes their enrollment is over 200, on par with most of the schools they play.
