I predict something like 40-10, with Eastside scoring on the back ups and the Bear offense not playing their starters after the second quarter. BigWinners 1,643 Author Report Share Posted October 24, 2015 And T. Turner pulled his starters early in the 2nd quarter. If Union wanted to, the game could have been 60+ points for Union. It would be nice to see Travis unleash the team at least once so some of these kids can get their stats so they can be in the mix for post season accolades like All-State or OPOY and such, but he is very classy I still wonder about his time management and playcalling at times, but he is getting better as a coach every week. BigWinners 1,643 Author Report Share Posted October 24, 2015 Some stats from last night: Bryce Spears-8-8 passing, 219 yards, 5 TD (27 yards per attempt).Noaks had at least 88 yards receiving and two TDs, (two TD catches, one went 59 the other went 39), Gavin had a 59 yard TD reception, and Mitchell had a 55 yard reception. My little cousin Luke Stidham also got in on the scoring action, he recovered a fumble and rumbled ten yards for a TD. Team stats:First downs-ES-2, Union-9 Rushing-ES-26 rushes, 36 yards; Union-21 rushes, 175 yards Passing-ES-52 passing yards; Union-223 Total-ES-88, Union-399 Comp/Attempts/INT: ES-3-10-1; Union-9-10-0 Fumbles-ES-3, 2 lost; Union-3, 2 lost One total penalty all night, Eastside had one ten yard penalty. Was very impressed by the Eastside QB. He is a great ballplayer just has no help at all. He is a WONDERFUL punter, he returns kicks and plays QB. He could be great on a better team.
