#1BLUESFAN 169 Author Report Share Posted August 11, 2019 One thing worry me...is our starting QB may not have played football since the 8th grade and now he is a Sr....thatzs a position you just don't get good at overnight....but I hope I'm wrong if he is the starting QB... Ryan4VT 4,554 Report Share Posted August 11, 2019 Hard to take much away from it since the starters were always facing the 2nd string. That said, I think the D has a real chance to be good this year. And the OLine plus TE’s being all senior makes me feel good about protection for whoever it is. Could be a situation where they both play. Simmons has the better legs and brings the read option game into play. It looked like Cox has the stronger arm. Neither were what anyone would call sharp. But it’s the blue white game and that’s expected. We’ll really get to know a baseline on Friday. We all know Belfry is good and I think GW will be a solid test.
