UnionGuy2017 182 Report Share Posted August 28, 2023 I’m not sure Thomas Walker can pull it out but if Lee plays with the effort they did for most of the game they did last week then it could get tight.
Hokie Bound 107 Report Share Posted August 28, 2023 Coach Carroll gets Lee in the win column 35-14. Thomas Walker does seem much improved this year. Good luck to both teams.
Union_Fan 2,155 Report Share Posted August 29, 2023 Down or not, Lee should not lose this game. If they do, TW may have a pretty good year. Hokie Bound
Duke2015 451 Report Share Posted August 29, 2023 Hard to predict if we don’t know if Lee will even try cause they sure didn’t vs Union
pakdastands 20 Report Share Posted August 29, 2023 I think Lee will narrowly escape this one.
rvtne216 278 Report Share Posted August 29, 2023 Did not realize it had been seven years since these teams had played each other.
Cash 4 Report Share Posted September 1, 2023 Lee lost a good Linebacker from what I hear. If they don't show up (as with Union) They'll be a party in Ewing tonight.
Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted September 2, 2023 I guess there wasn't a party in Ewing last night, haha.
S10SQUAREBODY4LIFE 239 Report Share Posted September 2, 2023 TW didn't look much improved from a season ago but more often than not, the Cumberland teams every 3-4 years cycle up and down. It's difficult playing up with 2A in a down time with less #s all the way around. On the other hand, it wasn't total domination as much as big busts over and over. Just not much resistance from the pioneers. Best of luck the rest of the season.

S10SQUAREBODY4LIFE 239 Report Share Posted September 6, 2023 Don't know who the backup qb is/was but I'm still scratching my head as to why TW wasn't sending the house on Defense vs the wildcat that wasn't going to hurt them on the pass. TW was in it for a minute but came apart much like Clemson. Lee capitalized on some silly mistakes and never looked back. Defense carried them well. Good luck to both the rest of the season, hope your qb's heal up quick and ready to go asap.
