Lebanon is scrimmaging at Sullivan East tomorrow

On the softball side, Lee is scrimmaging Eastside on Friday, March 8.  Should be a good one.

Lee has a good team this year?

Lee will be solid if healthy.  I think 2D probably comes down to Richlands, Lee, Battle and Lebanon.

Apparently not. Heard she transferred to Tri Cities Christian, no idea why tho

That’s a bummer for the Dawgs. She’s probably concentrating on travel ball. I believe her family moved down that way.

GC lost 7 seniors last year and their JV wasn't strong.  They will have 2 decent pitchers and then Makayla Bays, and that's about it.

We should be solid if we can stay healthy.  Return all but 1 player from a team that made the Region 2D semifinals last year.  The Mtn 7 should come down to us and Battle.

Lebanon won 12-2 in 8 innings I think. Heard that Lebanons pitching rotation as a whole was suburb. They threw 7-9 guys and they only combined to give up 3 or 4 hits. Only problem was the walks they gave up but that will get better as the season goes on. Thought East was going to be a decent team but turns out they only had 2 players return from last years team.

Ive heard that Tazewell will be taking part in scrimmages in Kentucky against two different schools. No idea on Richlands or Graham.

Lebanons baseball is scrimmaging rural retreat on Wednesday and the softball team is scrimmaging Gate City tomorrow

BHC reports that she is cleared to play at Tenn High this spring now!!!

TN High will be loaded this year. The Wilhoit kid that led their basketball team as a freshmen is a phenomenal athlete and softball doesn’t fall far behind her basketball abilities.  I thought they would probably win quite a few games before adding Compton but it would look more like football scores due to their offense and lack of pitching in a very small park. Their lineup top to bottom will be very strong. With Fisher (VT commit) at Volunteer out for the year with a with knee injury the Vikings should make a deep run at the state tourney.
