Ryan4VT 4,557 Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 1. ND 2. Boise 3. OU 4. WF best is #
Narz_Wave 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 Dunno guys. The Cotton Bowl looks VERY intriguing. Nebraska vs Auburn should be a barn burner. Nebraska has historically OWNED the SEC.

I expect to see a good game.
dcecilgolf 11 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 How in the hell does ND get a BCS game??? I guess we can blame God since the media belive ND is God's team! Total BS!
beano5 14 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 ND is pure garbage...overrated 150%....they get into a game with good teams (USC and Michigan) and they get destroyed...they definitely do NOT earn a BCS spot
BigD4VT 11 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 Bowls are about $$$! It has nothing to do with deserving to be there. It has to do with how many fans you will bring and how many people will watch you on TV. Notre Dame offers more of both than any school in the Nation. This is just the way it is and will always be unless and until there is a playoff.
Hacker 82 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 Someone was complaining to me that ND's contract with NBC gives them an unfair advantage. They saw it as tool for recruiting that no other school has. I agree that it is a hard thing to compete against.
VTCC22 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 You nailed that one! The Bowl games are so messed up this year that there has to be some Benjamins passed.
BoomBoom 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 yea im a Flordia Fan and all but come on Michigan really deseverd a rematch it would have made for a heck of a game
GHS06 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 i think that a rematch would just have sucked. if michigan won, their season series would be 1-1 but michigan would have a national championship. florida, osu gives a more clear cut winner. Also I think coaches shouldn't be able to get endorsement deals. For example, Coach K was in some credit card commercials. That is also a way of cheap recruiting. VTCC22 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 Even though they would get killed in the NC I think that Boise St deserved to be in the NC because after all they did go undefeated. The only reason I think that they didnt make it was because they has a crappy conference.
GHS06 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 what!? boise state in the NC? crappy conference is an understatment! they beat san jose state by three...
WaveFan09 50 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 it dosent matter...they are 12-0..and thats why I think they should have a shot..
GHS06 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 the point is they DON'T have a shot, that would be handing the title to OSU
dcecilgolf 11 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 The more and more the BCS screws up, the closer and closer we come to a playoff! So let'em screw up, they will eventually have to fix the problem.
Beaverteeth 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 I think that Michigan is the ONLY team that will give OSU a game. Flordia will lose by at least 10pts. IMO... Mich should be there over Flordia !!
dcecilgolf 11 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 The jets thing is easy, it is all about the 'coolness' factor, team owns a recruitment jet then they must be doing pretty good. The TV contract is all about exposure, it all helps.
