Tazewell has a house on the 50 yard line and Grundy has flying monkeys...Hurley has oopma loompas to...oops wrong movie. I think at the end of the year people start worrying about field conditions...the VHSL has been known to screw teams over and move games based on field conditions. CavDad 10 Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 I think the game was moved to Sat. to begin with because Bassett had a game on Monday night. Evidently, there is a conflict with another event on Sat., so the game was moved back to Friday. I just hope word gets to everyone so nobody misses the game that wanted to attend. GMan 3,569 Author Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 CavDad, The Bassett coach emailed me and said the game was moved due to the forecast on Saturday...had nothing to do with another event. Yes, the game was originally scheduled for Saturday because of the Monday game that Bassett played. However, they felt OK with moving the game to Friday because their starters got lots of rest Monday after jumping out to a 21-0 1st quarter lead against Dan River.
