Agree im sure they will come up with some adjustments to get the blocks they need. If they do and get the backs in the open field it will be a win for Giles.
I agree Giles played with some intensity tonight. If they come out and play with that intensity against Glenvar I believe Giles will be victorious. I hope they can move the ball and get some good blocks, open up some holes for the backs this time.
I think Giles could beat Glenvar if they get the chance to play them. The first game was close and if not for penalties and some mistakes it was Giles game.
If Giles gets past Ridgeview and Glenvar beats VA High. I don't know what Giles can do to beat Glenvar. Glenvar held Giles to under 100 rushing I don't see that being any different. If Giles can force a few turnovers and get good field position they would have a good chance.
I agree a team from the west will bring home a state championship. Giles definitely isn't quite as physical as in previous years and doesn't seem to have as much size. Anything can happen come playoff time and I really believe that any one of the top 5 teams in 2a west can beat any of the other top 5 in 2a west on any given week.
