He was the star running back on the 2006 Giles team. He played at Concord. I don't know much about his coaching ability but he is young and should be able to get the boys out to play. I don't really know what kind of offence or defense he runs.

If he retires I hope he comes home and coaches at Giles. We need another good coach

I will call it now Union beats Appomattox. They can't stop the power run. If Union call tackle they will win. Giles probably missed 50 or more tackles

I know it will be an uphill battle as well. I will be there cheering also. I just think some of the kids get on here and look at these posts. The other Friday I seen a high school kid looking at this site on his smart phone. That's the reason I'm hesitant to right comments like that on here

No. I'm a Giles fan that stands behind his team win or lose. I don't believe in admitting defeat until it has happened. I'm not going to say I believe Giles will win Friday but I'm going to be there cheering them on win or lose. I played for Giles and I can not remember ever going into a game scared or thinking we are going to lose. The kids deserve optimism not pessimism. Cheer for the kids and just let the cards fall where they may.

Why even show up then? The way you have talked about this team all year has been very negative. You sound like a narrows fan. Always thinking they are beat before the game even starts.

Appomattox definitely has the speed advantage but only in the past 3 years has Giles had any speed period. All year long Giles has been the slower team on the field but they used ball control and a good defense to win game. Up until 2013 that was the recipe for success at Giles. If they ball control and play good defense they have a chance.

Will there be a tiebreaker between Giles and martinsville? I just assume that is the reason for the question mark

He is done for the year. Torn meniscus. That's not good for Giles. Hopefully they can play run teams in the playoffs

Call the school and ask his dad. His dad is the athletic director. I hope he is back next week. Giles really needs him. If not he still has 2 more years.

I think Giles and Martinsville will tie in points. If so I think Giles wins the tie breaker

Finally a tailback that hits the holes at full speed instead of dancing in the backfield. Biedleman is better in space. Sometimes you need a back to just take the 3 yard gain

I don't think any of the backs this year has the explosiveness they have had the last 4 years. The running backs from the last 4 years made the line look better than they really were. I actually think this year's o and d lines are better than last years

I think it is as if the game was never played. They were an out of state school as well. That might be why it doesn't show up on vhsl reference
