Youth is definitely an issue. Not a lot of experience on the field even some of the juniors haven't played a whole lot. But when you graduate around 20 kids a year for 2 or 3 years it's gonna happen eventually

Not all of us from Union are as confident as some

Unions only playing about 3 seniors. Junior class is decent size though.

You can tell a lot from JV and 8th graders. When Union had Mitchell and that group of kids u could see it and Centrals group most seen it coming also. Look at Gate City everyone talked about their peanut football league being down and now look at the varsity. Union has a group now in middle school that could end up being a very special team.

The 90s teams were good i remember them giving Appalachia a couple of tough wins

That's what I was thinking. It's like someone saying Union is getting worse. They're not they've just played Abingdon and Central and not Lee Gate City and Battle

Your right, I've actually enjoyed watching them more than the varsity. Couple of the 9th graders are on varsity so imagine how good they'd be with the whole class playing JV.

I honestly think Travis is getting ready for the fall. Of course he wants to win but he's playing alot of young kids.

Abingdon should be up 30. Completely dominating Union up front. Union will move ball then get a penalty or sack and kill drive. Defense is missing tackles and the secondary has been burnt numerous times but besides that we look really good.
