Gotta agree vols I may be a bit biased for the Spartans but I think this game is a lot close than expected.

Boys this could be a heck of a game. Both teams are 0-2 and scrappy may be the word to describe them. What do you all think?

Heck of game from both sides. Score doesn't reflect the turn around in that program. Both sides gave it there all.

Now I'm not sure if you all have heard but if you can keep the Lebanon Pioneer Football team in your thoughts as they lost a player due to a dirt bike crash yesterday. I'm not sure of age or grade or anything I don't think I'd share it if I did not really the best to do on social medias.

Eastside won the Cumberland in 2012. Not fully irrelevant

I believe Hurley put up 70 Friday night while Eastside struggled on offense getting shut out by Central 40-0. One of Eastsides starting LB and OL last year now plays at Hurley. Transfers kinda hurt them this year with him going to Hurley and one of the top rushers going to Castlewood.

Any predictions coming into week 2? Last year this game involved a 3 hour lightning delay a rarity for sure!!

Hurley and PH definitely have the two best backs in 1A both of them are monsters on the field

Will both of the games be competitive or both get ugly fast? I'm thinking there's a better chance for central to compete with Eastside especially if Mullins is hurt and doesn't play. Union and Norton may just be to big of a mismatch for the raiders. The Bears are older and wiser this year minus a young QB just remember he ain't not average quarterback

Notes from Ridgeview: Eastside is improved and functions with purpose. Can show signs of teamwork with offense unit of sexton Vaughn Adams and Elam. Ridgeview has a heck of squad with that #4 and that sproles kid. I think he's a sophomore too! And that QB has a cannon!!

Honestly none of the large number of reported concussions came to be until the "concussion proof" helmets began being made. I may just be crazy from them. Who knows

I mean you're not wrong but things just seem different. They're advancing and with improvements to gear and rule changes it doesn't even out for me. They make the rules to protect players. Well if you have the equipment to protect them why have these crazy rules that come for WRs and QBs. Idk maybe I'm just to old school lol.
