Mountain Football

Terribly sad. Just a few short weeks ago, this community was devastated by flooding. They came together and supported one another as you would hope would happen. Now because of kids acting like brats and parents allowing it to happen the football season is over. Selfish! Shame on the parents for not setting a better example. Put your differences aside and teach your kids to be the bigger person.

I'm gonna say thats a negative on cowbells for Graham fans ghost rider😂. Jarhead will be at the gate telling us to turn around and put them back in the car. If they can't have theirs at Mitchell I doubt we'll be ringing ours at The Park lol

Train horn or no train horn. My vote would be Union as well. I hate the drive down there but dang if it's not a cool atmosphere for HS football.

Meadows is a senior but I agree 100% he is better than what many have given him credit for. Personally I think he has a better touch on the ball than Blevins did. Could Blevins throw the deep ball better? Yes. But he couldn't throw a 10 yard pass without knocking the receiver off his feet. Also, you have to look at the current receivers. Edwards is a sophomore, I'm pretty sure this is his first year at receiver. Watkins is Watkins. He did drop a pass he normally catches against Tazewell but we'll try not to give him too much grief about that. #6 didn't play Friday. This is his first year at Graham so it may take some time for him to get used to the offense. I think the passing game will improve as the year progresses.

Several of us on here like to give Tazewell a hard way to go at times. Myself included. The parade still makes me laugh to this day. But............the amount of support that team gets year in and year out is very impressive. Local businesses, parents, community members, etc go all out. I love it. I've really enjoyed watching the interviews on Facebook. Good stuff.

Absolutely. I'm with @Union_Fan on this. I wish we didn't play each other in the regular season. Kinda takes the edge off a playoff match up. Graham definitely has some improving to do, both offensively and defensively..

Out of reactions......but you are right! I've seen little league teams use them. Kinda surprised more HS teams don't use them.
