You have some lofty expectations if you are wanting the truth to come from politicians.

The 2022 Graham team lost a tremendous amount of talent from kids that transferred out prior to high school. Will Helmadollar moved to Georgia, he's now at South Carolina. Layth Ghanam moved to WV and is now at Tech. The Jollay twins were key players helping a George Wythe team make it to state their senior year.

Not too long ago I can recall many people(west of Bluefield) complaining about the cost of Mitchell Stadium. Stating that Graham needed their own field etc. At that time the Graham folks seem to love playing at Mitchell and the history of it all. Today it seems the roles have reversed to some extent. The Graham folks want their own field and those outside of Bluefield lean towards playing at Mitchell. What happened?😂

Well that explains that. At least if they do it on a year to year basis it will give us something to kick around on here. I wonder what it costs to operate that stadium on a per game basis? Im sure the lighting isn't cheap. My next question would be. Can they guarantee toilet paper in the bathrooms and at least one functioning toilet in each restroom for that $62,400.00?

If TCPS is asking for a 1 year contract with Bluefield. Are they thinking Graham's stadium will be completed at the end of that year?

I feel for sure sixcat could enlighten us on the engineering process. If they haven't chosen an engineering firm much less started that process, I'm going to say we are a LONG ways from a stadium.

Translation......... stadium will be like the many things on my Honey Do list. They have been started a completion date is yet to be determined. Similar to the Bluestone Technology Park and the Minnow Farm.

I was wondering the same thing. Way down from years past it seems. Is it just me or has the arrogance and show boating made it's way to high school wrestling? Maybe I have just overlooked it in the past and not picked up on it.

I'll be the first to admit that I've given Graham's radio guys grief over the years. This year I tried to listen with a more open mind. My constructive criticism would be they don't update the score and time left in the quarter nearly enough. Outside of that I'll give them break after listening to the state game on nfhs. I was embarrassed for those guys.

Which one was the most accurate with the championship predictions?
