Most of what I have read here is accurate. As of now Giles is a young, inexperienced, no leadership, lazy, no emotion team. If they spent as much time trying to get better as they did making excuses and back talking their coach they might get better. This team will be much better mid season but right now u just can't sugarcoat it, they are not very good. As far as hearing Jeff from the locker room screaming, he can't with this group of kids right now because they would quit. Rather they go 10-0 or 0 -10 I'll still be one of their biggest fans. On a side note, If Bluefield gets beat this year I'd love to see the team that beats them. They are great!!

Yep, Giles has been putting this together for a few weeks now. As one poster stated some things are just more important then football. All proceeds will be gave to his parents after the game. Also awesome news on Quinton All's.

To say Floyd is not that good is ridiculous, they have a great defense.

Mistakes kept Floyd in the game and the fact that Floyd is a damn good football team kept them in the game. Giles up 10 to 0 and having the ball with a fumble returned for TD by Floyd hurt. Having punt blocked and Floyd gets on 1 yard line hurts. Giles played about as bad as they could and still won the game 38 to 17. Not always pretty but they beat a good team. Ill take it anyday.

I think it could be a close game. Narrows is strong up front and big. Usually great recipe against Giles. Giles of course has played much more talented teams as opposed to Narrows but Narrows has also beat those teams like they should have. I think a lot depends on which mindset Giles boys want to come out with. If they have some fight in them and play like they did second half against Graham, Giles should win by two scores. If play like they did first half I think Narrows is good enough to beat them.

Don't see it being close, sorry. If I'm wrong I'm wrong and I'll eat crow but they won't be beat in 2A. Three score game. Dan River played the close due to nasty field conditions. only chance is to catch them on wet, muddy field to slow them done. That's the only way.

U will never see them pick against Salem, Glenvar.

Pretty proud of the Spartans the way they have overcome injuries the last few weeks and played well against two good teams. Giles could very easy be undefeated right now but a few bad breaks, its football. I also think they have a disadvantage because five teams they play have bye weeks before them. Ill take where they are right now. I do believe come playoff time Giles will not be a team you want to see. I say to the GW poster who said Giles would get beat by two touchdowns, I guess Giles is better then GW on what is supposed to be a rebuilding year lol lol.

Giles overcome a lot tonight with injuries to probably two best players on defense and offense out of game. Other then giving up the one big run and the punt return for TD Giles handles Graham offense. Cousin dint do much of anything but run his mouth like usual. Thought Giles had the game won on the 4th down stop but a horse collar tackle gave Graham the ball back. Still not sure about the call but it's football. Giles I'd say 3 to 1 in time of possession which is what u have to do against Graham. Proud of the boys tonight. Hard to beat a good team with your two studs out. Bad news for Giles is Chapman is probably done for season. Heard he would have to have pins put in finger

As much as it pains me, Graham will probably win this game and could be by a lot. I have watched Graham twice this year and they are good. Giles better find a defensive line quick or the next two or three games could be bad. I see graham winning by three touchdowns and that was before the Narrows game.
