Coach Church did many great things for the Hurley football program, not only as a head coach, but as an assistant for years. This rebel hopes he’s involved in the program in some way for the upcoming season and seasons beyond. Huge thank you to everything Coach Church has given us and the players. We, as a community, will support whatever he chooses do to in future, but again we sure hope he’s back in the program in some degree.

Sorry to inform you but the Hurley Rebels have nothing to do with this topic. Someone is upset because someone didn't get to play enough, and they quit. End of story.

What would be downright comical is if you had something good to say about Hurley, instead of your negative remarks all the time.

Is see Hurley playing with a lot of pride and determination. Sure they are not the same team as last years squad, but from what I have seen on tape, their QB is an outstanding player. If Chilhowie plays up to their potential, Chilhowie should win by several scores. You have to tip your hat to Hurley High School folks. Hurley has 175 students in their school, and here they are playing again for a chance of  Regional title. That in itself tells me something about the character of Hurley's squad. Congratulations to both squads for making it this far, and we pray for no injuries.

You forgot the two games of the week. 

PM is a good team no doubt or they wouldn't be here..It's gonna be a slobber knocker I'd imagine with the first team saying ouch losing. Hurley comes out with there heads on fire laying the wood  they set there own path. Praying for clean injury free game...Go Rebel Soldiers!

I don't know how far Hurley gets this year, but I'll be cheering them on for as long as their journey lasts.

It's been special for the community, TBH with injuries and a impending suspension (due to Honaker game ejection) TS may bite the Rebels this week.

Hurley did their talking on the field! Yall said Hurley hasn't played anyone.......you are right.....Hurley still ain't played anyone this year!!!!!

I believe the Hurley Rebels are a better team than PH. Also, GW and Galax.
