I played against some damn good giles teams 05-08 so i know gopd giles football. And I can't say they'd "Destroy" RH. Play with them definitely beat em maybe they would come down to mistakes. And who could fimd the damn ball haha.

I have nothing but respect for Giles but how can you say even on a bad year they'd be top 4 in 1A? And I promise they would come close to even competing with the top 5 in 1A this year. RH, Galax, GW, Essex, Sussex, PH, Narrows, Auburn would all beat them. And the 1st 4 I named would hang 50+ on them. Again no disrespect but i gotta disagree on a down giles year = top 4 1A. And if I'm being honest idk if a good giles team could be a good RH team.

I'm beyond happy for Chilhowie but I honestly think RH will win by 5+ tds. Possibly more if Chilhowie is caught of guard by just how damn good RH is. Chilhowie has seen nothing even close to RH especially in the way they are machine like in execution of the coaches game plan. I hope that Chilhowie wins I really do but I tonn they are just to young for what they are about to face.

Yeah sadly it is Galax and Chilhowie should have no trouble making the semifinals.

Galax and Chilhowie will both skip to the semifinals. Region D is probably the worst region in all of VA 1-6A.

This is an odd group for us they have all the ability in the world. But no heart and they are never prepared for the opponent that week. So idk we could win by 60 or get beat by 7.

What are your thoughts on this game? Many are predicting a blowout as am I. So what's your take?

I haven't seen the GMEN this year but all they hype is there and seems to be well founded. Marion is a very solid team well coached and disciplined and those DBs are damn good always in place and aren't afraid to smack you. The real question is how does Marion deal with the GMEN speed? I won't be surprised with either winning this game I'll only be surprised if either wins by more than a TD or 2.

Galax doesn't look like much at all when you see them. But my god when the whistle blows it's fun to watch and this is coming from a GW fan. I laughed the whole game cause it was honestly comical how good they are. GW and FC both looked to be on fire in the 1st Q but as soon as Galax saw a weakness it was over! I mean no disrespect at all by saying this but I think Galax wins by 3-5 TDs over every team in the west in the playoffs. And as for Grayson they have talent and ablity no doubt but Galax will roll them imo by as much as they see fit.

Both teams are looking good so far and Chilhowie beat my Maroons everywhere but the scoreboard. They should've won that game but let it slip away late. And PH has a solid team this season and imo will be the region D runner up to Chilhowie. This game is a good preview of things to come imo. D is possibly the worst region in VA. But these 2 are legit teams in a down region. I see it being Chilhowie vs Galax for a chance to go to Salem but who knows anything can happen under those lights. But for this game I think Chilhowie will to much In Rd1 I'm going Chilhowie-49 PH-21

Any other year I'd go RL without question and by many points. But RL seems to struggle against Tazewell and Marion is leagues beyond Taz. Marion has a killer secondary and are well prepared. So I have to take Marion in this one by 3 tds.
