You're absolutely correct in your assertion that I shouldn't have got on this forum, I don't attend any games but I do like the community in which I lived. When I heard some of the things that were being said about Hurley, I had to see if it was true, "well cut my legs off and call me shorty" "I'll be danged if it ain't true". Observer, you only know what you've read, been told or dreamed about the Hurley community !! With that being said I'll leave "y'all" with a quote that was used by the Duke of Paducah, "I'm going to the wagon boys my shoes are killing me". Observer, on your next visit to your doctor, tell him or her to change your meds as they're clearly not working !!

I believe I stated I was not a great fan of local football, in fact I live within walking distance of the "Cliff" and I have not attended not even one game. So I don't know where observer came up with me being a fan ! Like I said before he should take his meds regularly ! As for the flag being a symbol of racism he should take a course in history, the Confederate battle flag is does not represent racism except in his own mind. Observer can argue all he wants, after all seems I remember someone saying he was a lawyer and probably not a very good one either.

I'm not a great fan of local football, in fact I live in Hurley. I've talked to some of these kids parents, make that young men's parents, and I know the commitment these "YOUNG MEN" have made. I also know that there's a few out there who would talk trash about Hurley if they had played college team's and went undefeated ! They see Hurley as a "backer" (tobacco) chewing, toothless redneck hillbilly community with unpaved roads, but let me assure anyone who think along these lines nothing could be farther from the facts !! We have a paved parking lot at the school, my attempt at a bit of bit of humor. As was stated earlier, don't lump all Hurley fans in one basket, sure there are some that are rude and crude but again as was stated earlier every community has them. Show me a person who says they don't have fans like that and I'll show you a liar.

What I want to know is what happened to Honaker at "the Cliff" Friday night !! Who was it that said Honaker would take this one !! Also I was told Honaker really only scored 7 points, the rest were scored by the refs, I'm just saying what I was told so don't shoot the messanger !!

I bet no one ever dreamed Hurley would blow them out by 50 points. I expected it would be by two or three td's but not by 50. But Hurley hasn't played anyone yet, judging by the final score they still haven't played anyone !!
