I think if Richlands knew that less than 5-5 would mean they wouldn't be in the playoffs, they wouldn't have scheduled the schools they did. But as the system stands, for them it makes sense to test themselves early, then even if they barely get in they may be more playoff ready than most teams.

27-13 Fort

I still have a hard time putting anyone from 1A Region D in a top 10 for the area. Quite possibly the softest Region in the state.

1. Richlands 2. Union 3. Graham 4. Bluefield 5. Gate City 6. Galax 7. Fort Chiswell 8. Abingdon 9. Giles 10. George Wythe

While the first team was in it looked like Chilhowie 5 Honaker 2. Both looked good up front Chilhowie has a little more skill to spread the ball around to. Still need to keep eyes on 4. QB for Honaker put on a show though.

Being a visitor at Clintwood was really cool. Players said having fans right behind/ on top of you was made for an exciting atmosphere.

I would move PH to group B and GW and Galax to Group A I like this idea better simply because I have a hard time putting many teams from 1A Region D in a top 10 for the area. Could possibly be the softest Region in the state.
