On the “other board”, most posters are handing Radford the 2C crown & state championship. As far as 1C, I agree about GW QB, get him back & utilize the backup QB in another position, he’s a great athlete too. I think they have a legitimate chance all things being considered.

I concur! Both have strengths & both have weaknesses.Numbers on paper mean zip when they step on the field Friday night. I’m sure they’ll both have very good games this week. Maybe they’ll meet one day head to head until then, both are the top of their respective districts.

For any in the M7 that don’t realize it, Chris Edwards on the current Graham team is the younger brother of Aaron Edwards from the 2018 team.

Cam Allen of the 2018 team was an elite defensive player and offensive for that matter. He had a great performance on defense against Minnesota with 4 tackles, 2 INTs, 1 pass break-up for Purdue on Saturday. He is just an all around athlete with an abundance of God given talent mixed with hard work, very coachable.

Many on this board played high school football, have sons who did, or are just students of the game or avid fans. Since we had offensive thread, I thought why not defensive. Best defensive teams over the years? Best defensive coaches? Best defensive players? Etc. All things defense thread! You know what they say, “Offense wins games! Defense wins championships “!

In my opinion GW isn’t nearly as effective with passing game without Jollay. He’s a much more proficient passer than Smith. Smith is probably faster & can run but he can’t pass as well as Jollay in my opinion.
