The record looks like it is par for course. Not knocking houseright. But the record speaks for itself. Does the hc not deserve any credit for coves “success”. Will houseright be Reed’s dc? Will reed want him? I don’t think reed comes back from ab not to be head coach. Who knows what school board will do. whatever they do it will for personal reasons or political purposes.

What is the cove’s record?

Down cycle? We haven’t had a down cycle since shoemaker high years. ...bad years, yes. But no down cycles. It is school board, administration, and coaching. That is creating this. If you are not in Scott county then you have no idea what you are talking about. If you are and have half a brain, then you know the problems that the county is having. Leadership is the worst it has ever been. That is the down cycle. If you from Richlands or big stone or any where else you don’t have a clue how sorry are school leadership is. It won’t change until there are changes starting at the top.

They got beat by Marion....don’t know for sure but it probably has been 40 years since Marion has beat gc. There are no rewards for losing.

When is there going to be a vote for new school board? That is the one that really matters.

How can gc little league not get preference over travel when the gc little league season was cut short so that travel could start when it did?

You may disagree with my opinion, however your argument cements that you agree that there needs some new leadership within the little league program as a whole. Correct?

Akers ruined our little league...travel football is no good. It focuses on too few kids. Keep it in house. At some point the little league needs some new blood running it also. Gc is such a mess from top to bottom. I truly believe it’s best days are behind it. We are going to be average at best from here on out. What would attract a good coach to gc? Reed or houseright will go 5 and 5 for first 3 or 4 years and we as fans won’t accept that either. Gc will be like any other program. No consistency with coaching. Change coaches every 5 or 6 years with one good year every 3 to 5 years. The deep playoff runs and contentions for state titles are done for the foreseeable future. The school boards decision to hire Akers really hurt Gc not just for his tenure but for many years after he leaves at the end of this year. Reed should have got job when Colobro left, if he failed then give it to houseright. Bill or Jeremy. They are one in the same anyway. Jeremy would have stayed with reed because there is mutual respect there. He left Akers after one year of that circus.

Analysis?

Houseright or Reed? Who deserves it? Who would be better? Could they work together? As the world turns. Does Akers know he gone? Where will he go? He could choose to stay and just teach. Maybe coach tennis and the kickers.

Gc has a chance this game...south overrated. And the worst gc team in school history should have won last year. Maybe crazy, but if gc can limit unforced turnovers and overcome awful offense play calling they just may win one.
