Yeah thats what I was saying. SWD meets today all region would follow after that. Those teams arnt supposed to be released to the public until after everyone that has a kid on that team in eliminated. But for sure there is bond to be a lot of disagreement when these teams come out. Its going to get real fun when we get to all region because the Mountain 7 will have 6 votes compared to the SWD only having 5. Which mean IF 1st team QB comes down to Creasey and O'Quinn then there is a good chance O'Quinn gets it just because the mountain 7 have more votes. Unless SWD has stats that are way better than the M7 kid the M7 kid is going to get the nod every time. Until Lebanon comes back and evens those numbers back out
You are exactly right on the vote total. It favors the M7, but I think it works itself out in the Region. I will almost guarantee Jones will be SWD qb if they don’t go co 1 team qbs. I think that vote will fall 3-2 in SWD.
All district wont be released until every team in the district is out of post season play. Same goes with all region. So unless some coaches get loose lipped we wont know anything until SWD is eliminated from the playoffs. You are right though coaches do meet today to hash all that out
District Meetings are seperate, and Region 2D meeting isn't until after Thanksgiving break. It's always fun to read the "ACCOLADE" threads. I am sure alot of bartering and discussions will be had.
Brody had very successful surgery last night and is in good spirits. It was a freak injury and not concerned of venue of the game. Team rallied around him!
Brody is fine and has already had successful surgery to repair a compound fracture of the tibia! No ligament damage, and his team definitely played for him tonight. Proud of the Cats!
I think Virginia wins comfortably. Lee has yet to see the level of athleticism at the skill positions that Virginia High brings to the field this season, and though the line play is a question mark, they’re not hopeless on that front. Carroll is a whale of a coach, and Lee has some pieces…so it’s a testament to that program to see where Lee is now compared to the last decade.
One fun fact about this game is that neither Lee nor Virginia have 1 single win against a 2A team with a winning record. That’s pretty hard to do TBH.

Would love to see Central play the Palmer Greater Bluefield All-Stars to a close and physical game. Gmen will sell out to stop the run and Central doesn’t have enough in the air to keep it closer than 14.
Don’ think this one will be close. Graham will be able to name the score. It’s awesome for Central that they made it in though.
Dylan Brown has given every ounce of himself to a team that would probably be winless if not for him. I hope he gets justly rewarded when it comes time for postseason player accolades. He’ll be the best player on the field tonight, even if he doesn’t have Jones’s measurables or Poku’s speed or Thomas’s elusiveness. One of those kids I’d want in my foxhole were I a coach.
Selfishly, I’m cheering for Richlands, as it would create what I consider to be the ideal playoff bracket. I just don’t think Richlands has enough horses to stop Virginia High and the number of athletes they can throw at you.
I always love reading this dude's take on a game. Dylan Brown is an awesome kid, and he will get accolades. There is an x factor in this game in terms of a player. It's just one not one mentioned! Looking forward to how this game plays out.
The Radford QB is dynamite. I got heat for my comments about Radford and their skill position players but they are as good as any 2A team you'll see. They may get beat by a team better at the LOS but you aren't gonna win many shootouts with Radford.
Had Jones lived in a football crazed bigger city in a different state and been positioned to be a QB at age 10 like some kids, he would have major P5 top 25 QB offers.
I haven’t seen Radford QB, but have heard he is quite the athlete. I agree on Jones wholeheartedly!!

It has absolutely nothing to do with M7/SWD, it's your weird obsession with Tazwell that causes you to be unable to be objective whatsoever.
I honestly believe you think there's this massive conspiracy from everyone outside of Tazwell to put O'Quinn on a higher level than Creasy for some reason. That simply isn't true. I'm sure you're aware of Occam's razor, that's the reality here. I don't hate Tazwell, I don't love Ridgeview, but having seen O'Quinn in person a few times plus going back to watch most games played by both, it's clear to me which is the better QB. He has a higher ceiling, he throws an extremely accurate deep ball, is a physical runner with a strong arm. His weaknesses are all coachable, not physical.
Creasy isn't the best QB in his district!!! Has a ton of potential, but doesn't match O'Quiin or Jones from VA High. The next two years will be when he will have to shine for Tazewell!!
I'm hopeful our new coach doesn't start playing a weaker schedule. Our schedule hasn't changed a whole lot. We play our 5 district required games in Alleghany, Carroll, Floyd, Glenvar, and James River. The other non district games are George Wythe, Gate City, Fort Chiswell, Galax, and Christiansburg.
