If Burton is healthy I think this one will be a toss up.  Burton is a very good 1A team but numbers can be an issue if a couple of people get dinged up.

I don't think that pre-season polls, especially in high school sports are worth the paper they are wrote on.  But I do think Union is still the top team in the area.  

It'll be fun to see how it all shakes out.  

When was the last time a boys team from swva won a state title?  I know there have been some girl teams in recent years.  But I can't think of any boys teams since Powell Valley in the mid to late 70's.

Beamerball, you seem a little sore about TW.

Maybe if Lee could have scheduled a couple more teams on TW's schedule they would be getting ready for a playoff game.

TW is beating schools at their level and had a competitive year.  They get rewarded with a playoff game and you want to take a jab at their schedule.

Lee got 2 W's by playing down.  

If TW coaches did come from Lee, we may have kept the wrong coaches in Ben Hur.
