  1. Marion girls can win the 1-4 game I think
  2. Graham shot nothing but jumpers and floaters all night. That’s what happens when you shoot floaters over the big man instead of attacking. Meanwhile Graham is lucky Abingdon didn’t shoot more-they were still in football mode.
  3. It’s not a race…Union 20 points better. I said this last year too and Graham couldn’t even make it to Union
  4. Well they blew out Chilhowie and then choked last night….
  5. Honaker still returns quite a bit on the girls side to go along with some dynamite upcoming freshmen.
  6. He transferred to Charleston or Savannah-somewhere southern.
  7. Perhaps that’s why they could struggle in a one game elimination setting-live by the three die by the three
  8. Honaker lost one player off last years team and brought in a transfer and two impact freshmen. I’m well aware of the head to head result last year, but that seemed to my eye to be the result of one player having a nuclear hot shooting night which is hard to account for
  9. I had heard that, but what I saw last year was a two man team and both of those cats graduated. Until I see them those others teams get the nod.
  10. 1D 1. Honaker 2. Twin Springs 3. Rye Cove 4. Grundy 5. Chilhowie/Holston 2D 1. Union 2. Gate City 3. Graham 4. Marion 5. Virginia High
  11. Were the folks taking Hydroxychloroquine wackos? No-they were misinformed by grifters and amplifiers of grifters like you. It’s sad to read about the people who die because they trust these tent preachers and snake oil salesmen who make money and influence off of their ignorance. The people who die are the true believers, meanwhile the real snakes are the ones who are vaccinated and yet claim it’s the work of the media/Devil liberals/big pharmaceutical in order to sow distrust. You don’t know the first thing about medicine, infectious diseases or anything of the like…and neither do I. Yet I am depending on medical experts who have devoted a lifetime to their studies and you are simply a contrarian hack who gets such a charge out of having people listen to you and your rants that you misinform and cite con artists looking to make a quick buck just so you can be “the voice.” Ironic-seeing as you are truly “The Voice” of this forum-the opinionated biased rants of an ignorant fool that people read and react to solely for entertainment.
  12. Or, people are so foolish and contrarian and desperate to go “against the grain” that they are easily swayed by grifters who have no clue what in the hell they are talking about but act like they do. The exact same thing you posted above was said about hydroxychloroquine which has since been proven to be totally ineffective against Covid. The exact same grifters and snake oil salesmen/politicians who were pushing HCQ are now pushing ivermectin. It’s almost as if they have a monetary interest in grifting and outrage porn against the LIBRUL ELiTes whereas actual scientists and medical experts pushing the vaccine are….experts in their field who are working to combat a pandemic. If you want to be mad at big pharma, then get pissed that they put 15 doses in one vial to make sure more gets purchased…not that they developed a vaccine that eliminates 99% of Covid deaths. I swear some of you would light yourself on fire if Trumpworld media quacks told you to do it. And then with your charred, burnt fingers you would post on here that “you know many close personal friends who have lit themselves on fire and it worked for them” or “I was exercising my freedom of choice by immolating myself, and I won’t be intimidated into following the crowd by the liberal media.” Or you might be like our friendly neighborhood conspiracy theorist radio host and state that “burning alive is an effective Covid treatment because it KILLS the virus-once you are dead the virus is no longer in a host so it DIES-THIS IS A FACT YOU CANT ARGUE AGAINST IT OR ELSE YOU ARE AN IDIOT”
  13. It is not an approved treatment-it is under evaluation. The FDA also evaluated hydroxicholorquine in the same manner and determined it is not effective.
  14. It literally says approved doses OR amounts reported from clinical trials. All this means is that they are studying the effectiveness of ivermectin. You can find the statement below precisely one click away. It’s stunning that you’re an educator.
  15. Apparently Lebanon had several starters out too. As long as Jenkins played the outcome of this one was never in doubt.
  16. They only start one senior so they probably expected a down year but they looked pretty bad against the Tigers
  17. I’m not disagreeing with you at all-I was more responding to our friendly neighborhood preacher who is providing a much needed booster for vaccine skeptics across our great commonwealth.
  18. It is impossible to know everything there is to know about a novel virus. It is also impossible to know everything there is to know about a vaccine for a novel virus. That being said, color me skeptical that people who guzzle down the newest flavor of Mountain Dew without question are suddenly concerned about how long the Covid vaccine has been researched. It is much more likely that there is a subset of the population whose anger/defiance/distrust of “authority” has been taken advantage of by bad actors.
  19. Someone with your vast intellect should understand the difference between the NYT and NYPost editorial pages and actual news. But to a greater point, the problem with “news” today is that there is no room to breathe and assess. People want things immediately. They want quotes and takes and expert opinions immediately and sometimes that is not possible to do with 100% accuracy. It has been impressive to watch the smear job of Fauci, whose only crime seems to have been being an “expert” in a time where expertise is devalued and parsed by outside sources looking to promote outrage and celebrate ignorance.
  20. People who peddle/copy and paste every BS misinformation piece fed to them and who trumpet every conspiracy being one of the primary factors.
  21. Sigh…the issues with hospitalizations are from unvaccinated people. No one here claimed vaxxed people couldn’t spread the virus. Blaming vaccinated people for unvaccinated people clogging the hospitals is a wonderful example of the weaponized ignorance I’m referring to.
  22. That’s right, assert your independence from my thoughts and the “groupthink” of all of the most educated members of our society (especially in the realm of infectious disease) and continue listening to the TRUE patriots who run a podcast with a tinfoil hat on or peddle their garbage to the most uninformed and gullible members of our society.
  23. Awesome-a dude on a keyboard’s opinion versus the opinions of experts in infectious disease. As far as vaccinated people “spreading” the virus-thats lifted straight from the looney bin misinformation that you’ve posted in here before as “interesting.”
  24. It’s not just selfish, it’s defiant, weaponized ignorance. How many of these people look at the weather app before making decisions? How many of these people had an MRI or a CT scan based on the advice of an expert? It makes zero sense to not trust science, but they can’t look past their cognitive dissonance when they have snake oil salesmen and TV preacher hacks telling them that the science of a vaccine is a lie.
