  1. Dogs inside the 20 twice with no points to show for it. Kicking game hurting them.
  2. Graham needs to stop the QB. He is running all over them.
  3. Graham is pass happy with the backup QB. Started off well for them, but not effective at the moment.
  4. Independence up 12-8 over Bluefield in 2nd quarter.
  5. With Grahams qb unable to play on the offensive side, I think Graham plays power football tonight and wears down GW and opens it up in the 3rd quarter. I look for Clements and Jennings to have good nights.
  6. Somebody at each individual school is responsible for scheduling those to air. As long as who is in charge of it makes the change...
  7. Get over it. Anybody with a brain knows that they were forced to throw the ball a lot because of the lack of a running game. Go slam another team. We're all full up with the insults here.
  8. Nobody said it. For some reason, people like to bash the dogs when their own team is struggling. "But, but, but Tazewell, errr, parade, errr, you predicted them winning 2A....derrr ".... <<my impression of them. Its getting old...
  9. Graham has a bit of the injury bug this week too. I could see it getting a little interesting.
  10. There are only a few Bulldog posters on here. None of whom have any delusions of grandeur. I'll continue to support my team.
  11. No hard feelings at all. Just didn't want you to think that I would trash anybody's kids, I certainly don't want to sound abrasive, just making sure that you have no ill will towards what I said. I have 2 kids of my own, one who had some mighty struggles as a child and another who has been injured pretty badly a couple of times playing sports. I have heard people talk trash in the stands about my kids. Trust me, I wouldn't want to do that to somebody else's child. It does happen on here and I just wanted to clarify. You are one of my favorite posters, don't want any ill feelings.
  12. Yes, over the past 5 decades....
  13. I was totally talking about scheme. I actually went back and changed my post that you quoted to be more clear about it. I have had my own children trashed before and in the stands where I could hear it in person. I would never trash another kid. I just like to talk football. Key words in what you quoted was "they always have their linebackers up close to the line". Again, based on decades of watching Graham play.
  14. How are kids being trashed? It's certainly not by me. Please don't even go there. When I say it looks like they tend to be up close to the line of scrimmage. I'm talking about over the decades, this is how Graham has played. I actually think they will have more success against teams that don't run these type of blocking schemes.
  15. Seems like they have done this with their linebackers for decades, they bring them up close to the line of scrimmage and it hurts them against teams like Giles and Galax (over the years). Been watching Graham play for 48 years now. Doesn't matter what the scheme, they tend to play the LB's close to the line of scrimmage a lot and that can hurt against those types of teams, when their linebackers get caught up in traffic and over-pursue. I'm no expert by any means, just something that seems to happen a lot. Just the average Saturday morning Couch QB.
  16. Same. He knows a lot about football and is a good source of information for this board.
  17. I agree with this assessment. The play of the linebackers needs to improve for Graham. They have talent at those positions, but they always have their linebackers up close to the line and tend to be overly aggressive at times. Sometimes they need to stay put and read and react. The RB's on the other teams are getting around that initial surge and the DB's are having to make too many tackles.
  18. Gonna need another welfare check on BandanaVTDavis today.
