Johnson is impressive they beat the 3a champ Belfry this yr by close to 30 points.

That's the thing with the coach at central. He was on the hot seat for poor performances in the past. Quite a few wanted him gone before this group of central kids started. He had to start listening or be let go.

I think Johnson Central vs Elizabethton would be a good game. Both 4a I think. After that I think Pikeville alone would have their way with any Va teams in the area.

They do listen to some parents who are very knowledgeable about the sport and this group of kids. You dont seem to be one of those parents and it upsets you. Is Reynolds not helping with coaching anymore?

Even one of the parents called in after the union game I think and said Owens finally started listening to what they were telling him. He has a great group of kids that could make most coaches look good. But folks acting like he is now the bear Bryant of swva football are silly

Well te be fair he hadnt done much with any other group. This groups of kids have been brought up by other coaches and from what i hear they are still helping and calling the shots.

Central is gonna be tough for sure.

Pretty interesting trivia Gman . We are fortunate to have an abundance of good programs in our area. . Pretty sure pike beat belfry this yr too and they are in the 3 a finals
