GMen might get beat by Beaver. They probably will. But I don’t think it is going to affect their ability to win state. They may repeat. If they don’t make it all the way then it will simply be because the team that beat them (like Radford) is just the better team.

The numbers are low, which they have been for a few years. I am not sure that we will be .500. Maybe at 3-7, including the forfeit win. It won’t help much as far as PowerPoints are concerned. I see 2 possible/likely wins. May sneak up on a couple of teams. A team they MIGHT sneak up on is Bath County, who is not what they once were. We have been competitive against them the past few seasons. So we shall see. After beating Twin Valley last season for the first win since 2015, the boys were tickled to death. Then over Montcalm. There were a few who graduated, though. Ben Deplazes is one who graduated and is playing football at Grove City College in PA. Those are big shoes to fill.

Nope. All of y’all are wrong. Richlands will have a 14-0 lead early. The score at the beginning of 4th quarter will be Richlands 21, Union 7. Last minute of the game, Richlands has a 28-21 lead. Union will be out of timeouts. Richlands decides to take a knee but it’s a bad snap and the quarterback loses control. Union recovers the fumble on their own 20. Union gets a couple of quick deep passes downfield and scores a TD with 30 seconds remaining. The PAT is good. Well Union kicks it off. Richlands has a nice return but coughs it up at the Union 5. Union returns the fumble for a TD as time expires and wins 34-28. It is complete pandemonium in the stadium.

6-4 for Gate City would be a shocker for sure. Central will surprise some people.

Morality clauses. Do something involving moral turpitude then that can be grounds for dismissal or non renewal. Even if it happened away from your job duties. I don’t know whether or not the allegations are true. I do know that there are people who want it to be true. There are also people who don’t want it to be true. If there has been a pattern of complaints then that should be grounds for a formal investigation done by proper authorities. You have to look at why the complaints are being made. Are people making a sincere complaint? Are they just embellishing on details from gossip? Is there malice involved? Is there a pattern? How many eyewitnesses? How are these complaints handled if other teachers, coaches, and staff are the subjects of them? If they are just shrugging off the complaints then that is not okay.
