I think GW done some things we hadn't seen on D and our offense was struggling to be as consistent as normal but the Galax defense was pretty stout other than a few plays here and there. I thought the coaching staff done a good job of making adjustments at halftime to put more points on the board. But you are right this was not Galax's best showing so hopefully they have there bad game out of the way.

GW scored 3 points on the Galax starters, they scored 2 touchdowns against all backups.

No one said you couldn't look ahead....just remember all the looking ahead does no good if you don't win this week. Good luck to y'all this week and I hope yall get your wish of playing Galax again at full strength.

If both continue to win you night get your wish, I believe both teams are playing better since the first meeting but Galax is concentrating on trying to beat GW right now and I'm sure Giles is doing the same for PM. Everyone getting ahead theirselves worrying bout games next week when they haven't got through this week.

From my understanding they were missing several starters against Galax and were at full strength at Grayson

Idk who to take in this one but I do believe Giles will be the best team they have seen since they started the 9 game winning streak.

Narrows is the best team they played? No offense to Narrows but they're not real good this year and not super physical so I'm not real sure how that makes Holston look.

Bold statement, I know they have won 9 in a row and are clicking on all cylinders but the teams they beat were not powerhouses either. I think we will know alot more about PM after the Giles game and they may be the real deal.....time will tell

Pretty big statement and for all I know it's true, I have no doubt Holston is a damn good team or they wouldn't be undefeated. A lot of people will attribute their record to a weaker schedule but they have played and beat all who were placed in front of them. Ww will see if that schedule hurts them as the playoffs wear on the teams get better. Grundy is playing there best ball at the right time and I think it will be a good game.

It's a sad evil world we live in, I pray that God will confort and console his loved one's and coworkers.

Thoughts on this rematch? I for one am expecting a much more competitive game this go around and the young men from Galax know how much better GW has been playing since the last meeting. I still think if Galax plays up to there capabilities they can come away victorious.

I didn't think he got to play right away because of his old high school doing something but he moved here from out of state with his parents so I think he was eligible right away but I might be wrong. Heck I can't remember much about yesterday much less a few years ago....haha

My only issue with it is if Galax plays as the 1 seed and has some injuries that could cost them down the road and you have the 4 seed sitting at the house with a bye recovering from any injuries and not worrying about getting any injuries. To be clear I'm not blaming GW for getting the bye it just the way the chips fell this round. Hoping it's not the case and Galax can win the game and not have any injuries.

Was told a while ago that they voted to leave as is which means GW will get the bye, don't know how true any of this is.

Rumor has it that the region will decide who gets the bye, anyone confrirm this?

I thought they could've played Graham and chose not to but I might be wrong about that. Regardless GW had absolutely nothing to do with Covingtons decision to cancel this game and it could be beneficial by getting some guys healed up or could hurt because lack of reps. As I said before Galax isn't concerned with no one but Grayson right now and if we get by them then we can worry about playing GW.
